The freezing frosty weather draped the gorse in visible (no longer invisible) natural decorations.
A magnificent masterpiece surpassing any modern bebaubled flashy flashy Christmas tree…
As the house was freezing cold, I decided to head outside into the next door fields for a wee warm up. It’s a rare occasion I’ll head outside unaccompanied – but I braved the threat of some lack-of-vision-related disaster, and let my camera show me the details.
I cannot express the difficulty I found in trying to restrain my photo taking. Thus I have decided to spread them out over a number of ‘themed’ blog posts to fool nobody into thinking I didn’t take that many after all.

Christmas Decorations – used to be limited to lights (or candles?) on the Christmas tree with a home made star on top and maybe a honeycomb paper decoration that opened up into a magical 3 dimensional wonder-full hanging ornament.

Never have I felt so pro nature…
Decidedly dismissing plastic-coated thoughts of throw-away festive fashion, blingy baubles, glittery glitz and Santa suits, I made a determined effort to ‘be present in the moment’ (instead of consuming thoughts of momentous presents).
I am looking forward to making (recycled) paper snowflakes for the windows again this year!
Barely a breath of wind allowed this floating feathery frosticle to ‘just chill’!
Cool, calm, bright blue skies and super special scenery meant that whilst I lost touch with my frozen fingers, I found a few fleeting moments of perfectly peaceful quiet.
