This spectacular place was a hop, skip and a clamber up from our Cumbrian campsite! A beautiful spot on top of the world, where all we could hear was the melodic sound of skylark, wren, robin and other musical harbingers of spring.
The stone was stubbornly unforgiving on the old rear end though – leading to posterior ache and postural shifting!
This tree actually reminded me a bit of my old oak mosaic (link to be added here!) – though in a very different setting!
