I cooked up a small batch of ink from my lovely autumnal witch hazel leaves. At this time of year, they are turning all shades of wonderful and beginning to fall in my garden just now.

This is a collection of some of the very sketchy sketches I made using the ink. They are now lying out on my dining room table, in full light (no direct sun today). I’ve stuck a partial ‘mask’ over them. I hope to gauge how light-fast the ink is!
Time will tell.
