A pot of Iris – I like the angles in this drawing.
The composition just ‘came to me’. With my dodgy eyes, things can look a bit different anyway. I have to sit with my nose close to the subject (I must draw sweet peas in season!) and sometimes the perspectives are quite ‘off’. But I like that, and chose this time to embrace it in pencil.
