This fuchsia drawing came about because it was completely hidden in my garden!
I had been rummaging around for weeds in the undergrowth (I like weeds, but the creeping buttercup can take over) when I had a lovely surprise – this beautiful, blousy bloom (I usually like simpler forms, but this one really caught my eye) was completely lost amongst the jungular foliage. So I picked it and brought it in to photograph.
Then, decided to draw it.
